The Coaching Advantage™ for Leaders: How to help others perform & develop to their highest potential
Leadership involves supporting people to learn, grow and perform to their highest potential. Leaders who use a coach approach enjoy higher levels of employee engagement, increased productivity and a greater sense of job satisfaction. This 2 day program will provide leaders with a deep understanding of the coaching role of leaders, and how this fits in with other leadership responsibilities.
Leaders will be introduced to a variety of practical tools to support productive coaching conversations that support both development and performance and will be have the opportunity to practice core coaching skills with feedback.
Situational Leadership II is the most widely used leadership model and invites leaders to flex their leadership style to support their individual team members because one size does NOT fit all. Depending upon the employees’ competence (ability, knowledge, and skill) AND commitment (confidence and motivation) to complete a task/goal, the leader will need to select the style of leadership that best matches the employee’s competence and commitment.
Leaders, who match their style to the needs of their people raise morale, make others feel valued, and ultimately increase commitment, engagement, and retention. When employees feel that their managers have their best interests at heart, they perform better, are more creative, and seek optimal solutions to problems.

Quit and Stayed: Re-engaging You & Your Team
Every day the spirits of millions of people die at the front door of their workplace. There is an epidemic of employees who are uninterested and disengaged from the work they do, and it is costing your company and you personally. According to a Deloitte survey, only 20% of people say they are truly passionate about their work, and Gallup surveys show the vast majority of workers are disengaged, with an estimated 23 million “actively disengaged”.
This workshop will provide you with tips and best practices for reengaging your team and is designed to share practical and useful information that participants will apply when they return back to work.
Home Run! Knocking it out of the park using a coaching approach to support your team
One size leadership does not fit all…. sometimes leaders are required to give direction, sometimes they need to delegate, and sometimes collaboration is the best style to achieve results. Recent research shows that using a coach approach is one of the most powerful tools to increase engagement, strengthen relationships, generate ownership, and support team members.
At its core, coaching is about building productive and enduring relationships, helping your team understand what they want and what stands in their way, and supporting them to be maximally effective. This workshop will introduce leaders to the core skills of a coach approach starting with self-awareness and focused attention on what to listen for, good questions to ask and when and what to say.
